YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy at Keka.
Launch draft — not yet approved. Keka must confirm its legal operator, public privacy contact, retention periods, and payment-provider practices before this policy can be used for a public app launch.
Who handles your data
Keka (legal operator pending) operates Keka, a marketplace for booking reviewed makeup artists in New Cairo. A public privacy contact will be published before launch.
Information we use
When you create an account, we process your name, email address, authentication details managed by our identity provider, and any optional profile contact details. Booking requests can include the service, preferred date and time, area, home-visit address, notes, quotes, appointment status, and messages. Artist applications can include identity and experience details, service areas, pricing, availability, and portfolio images. We also process support cases, safety reports, and account-deletion requests.
Why we use it
We use this information to run accounts, review artists and their work, show approved profiles, coordinate requests and appointments, protect users, handle disputes and support, and keep an operational record of the marketplace. Public artist profiles and approved work photos are visible to visitors. Private addresses, applications, unapproved images, and support records are not public.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Keka sends page visits and selected account, artist, booking, and review milestones to its EU PostHog project. We use a pseudonymous browser identifier and, when you are signed in, your Keka account ID. We do not send names, email addresses, home addresses, private images, booking notes, reviewer notes, typed form answers, or URL query strings in these events. Automatic form/click capture and session recording are disabled. If you decline, PostHog does not initialize in your browser.
Optional analytics are not active on this version of Keka.
Who receives it
Keka uses Supabase for authentication, database, and private media storage, Vercel to serve the current website, and PostHog EU only for analytics you allow. The selected artist receives the details needed to consider and fulfill a customer request. Keka staff with relevant permissions can access information needed for review, support, safety, or finance. A payment provider and messaging provider will be added to this policy before those features are activated.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep account, artist, and booking information while needed to provide Keka and handle support, disputes, security, and legal obligations. You can request account deletion in your account or through the web. Keka will remove associated personal data where possible and explain any records it must retain for a legitimate reason. Exact retention periods, including analytics retention and deletion handling, are still being finalized and must be published before public app launch.
Your choices and safety
You can change your password, change your optional analytics choice above, report content, block an artist from discovery and future requests, and ask Keka to delete your account. Portfolio images require the artist to confirm publication rights and identifiable people’s consent before review. Contact support if you need help with your data or a booking.
Changes
We will update this policy when Keka changes its providers, data practices, or retention rules. This page is a launch draft until the legal review is complete.
